The Last Supper

The boxes are on their way, the final bags are packed, the cars loaded and cleaning done. So all that's left to do is say goodbye to a house we love. A home we love. Sure, home is where the heart is, but a big part of our hearts are still in this house. We brought our baby home to this house. And it has been so, so good to us.

We sat down for our last supper, spread right on the floor, eating leftover salmon from paper plates, and toasting wine from plastic cups. We enjoyed the view (oh, what a view. . .), reminisced about all the great times, and shed a few tears. . .

. . . thanks for all the memories, Agate Creek Drive, we'll miss you.

That's so sad. It's hard to leave a house that you made a home, especially when a baby is involved. Hayden will be able to remember things from the next home, though. And that will be a fun trip down memory lane with him telling you things.
