Superheroes

I present, the invincible "Light Man"

And his sidekick, Captain Adorable. . .

Here to protect the world against evil, "operate earth so people can live on it for thousands of years more than the dinosaurs" (in Light Man's own words) and cause mayhem for their mother.

It's nice to know I have defenders of the common good around everyday. You never know when you're going to need a super hero!

Day 1 -- All the rest

Although we were staying "at the beach" a good portion of our day was spent out of the hot sun at the house. We occupied our time with things like dance performances. . .

Banana pudding. . .

Snacks at the bar. . .

Legos. . .

Cocktails, kindles, and computers. . .

Snuggles. . .

And a big pile of deliciousness about to be prepared. . .

And, that, folks, wraps up Day 1. It pretty much sums up our week, but I can promise you that I have a lot more pictures to share!

Beach 2011 - Day 1

Only 3 days after getting home (I thought it would take me much, much longer!), I present the first round of our beach photos:

Our days started out with the 100-yard walk to the beach. They also started off with plenty of humidity fogging up camera lenses. . .

We set up camp at the beach,

and documented the mayhem.

When Ben decided he was done with the beach, he just said "all done beach" and started heading back to the house. No matter if was the only one who was all done, he was going!
